Princess Cruises unveils largest ever Australia season
Princess Cruises’ Australia season will be its largest ever in 2019/2020, with five ships travelling to over 100 destinations and carrying 200,000 guests.
Sailings will depart from Sydney, Perth (Fremantle), Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and Auckland on cruises around Australia, New Zealand and beyond to Singapore, Hong Kong, Fiji, Bali and other destinations.
Vice president UK and Europe, Tony Roberts, said: "UK bookings to Australia have nearly doubled year-on-year in 2018 so it’s fitting we’re now gearing up for our largest ever Australia and New Zealand season.
"We’re anticipating an increase in UK visitors to the west coast of Australia, including historic Perth and its stunning coastal setting, and have ensured we’ll spend more time there so guests can take advantage of everything the region has to offer."
The season will see the return of the 3,560 guest Majestic Princess, the line’s newest ship, and the arrival of the 3,100-guest Ruby Princess, both sailing from Sydney.
The 2,600-guest Golden Princess, 2,000-guest Sun Princess and Majestic Princess will sail to and from Adelaide.
Four Princess ships will spend 141 days cruising from Perth and Sun Princess will spend a season based in Perth from November 2019 to March 2020.
In Brisbane, the 2,000-guest Sea Princess will return to complete itineraries fro two to 35 days, calling at destinations across New Zealand, Australia, Papua New Guinea, the Coral Sea, South Pacific and Hawaii.
Golden Princess returns to Melbourne, sailing to destinations in New Zealand, South Australia and the South Pacific.
Cruises will be available to book from midnight on April 19, 2018.
