Promotion for City Cruises head of sales
River Thames sightseeing operator City Cruises has promoted Clare Newman from head of sales and marketing to sales and marketing director.
She joined City Cruises two years ago and has overseen a rapid growth in both internet and trade sales, said the company.
In her new position she will join the management board and take greater responsibility for the company’s IT infrastructure and sales distribution systems, while continuing to manage sales across the brand.
Newman will also lead the development of mobile booking platforms and XML connectivity with trade partners, continuing to develop a brand franchise across the group and drive the focus on achieving an increasing level of customer satisfaction, said City Cruises.
