Qantas returns to South Africa
Flag carrier Qantas is back in South Africa for the first time in nearly 22 months. It resumed scheduled service to Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport and will operate three weekly return flights from Sydney.
It planned to restart the route last year but new Covid waves including the current Omicron variant, as well Aussie border reopening uncertainty pushed the date back multiple times.
