Qantas targets Christmas for restart of London flights
Qantas is targeting a restart of flights to the UK by the end of the year. CEO Alan Joyce reckons it could resume by Christmas, but the airline may have to seek an alternative to its nonstop flights from Perth.
Western Australia currently has the strictest travel restrictions of all Aussie states and Joyce says Qantas ‘has to look at alternatives.’ Darwin, NT could be a possibility he said.
The airline could also restart flights to the US and Europe by the end of the year.
