Qatar Airways is the Official Title Partner and Official Airline Partner of The Qatar Airways British & Irish Lions Tour to Australia 2025.

The British & Irish Lions will take on the Wallabies in a series of Test matches and games against Australian teams next year.

Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium will host the first of three Tests on 19 July, 2025.

Two further tests are held at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), and Sydney’s Accor Stadium in Sydney Olympic Park on Saturday 2 August.

Other fixtures are against a combined Australian and New Zealand team at the Adelaide Oval, and matches in Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.

Qatar Airways will fly the Lions squad and touring party down under next summer.

The title sponsorship follows two successful Qatar Airways Cup International Test matches in 2023 and 2024 held at Twickenham, between South Africa versus New Zealand and South Africa versus Wales respectively.

The airline has an extensive network in Australia, with 42 weekly flights to Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.

The airline is also sponsor of Australian rules football side Sydney Swans, The F1 Australian Grand Prix and The Qatar Airways Australian MotoGP.

Qatar Airways Group CEO, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, said: “We are taking our commitment to the sport of rugby to the next level. We look forward to enabling rugby fans across the world to see this unique sporting event”.

Around 20,000 fans are expected to travel to Australia next summer.
