Radisson launches “Express Yourself”
Radisson Hotels & Resorts announced it has launched “Express Yourself,” which it calls the industry’s first generation of an online check-in process.
The core of the expedited check-in process is the ability for guests to check in at their convenience through the Web.
Guests first reserve a room via any Radisson booking process (through an agent, at the Web site or directly through the hotel). Secondly, seven days prior to a visit, the guest receives an e-mail inviting them to check-in at the hotel’s Web site. Personal preferences are provided such as a specific room location or high speed internet access.
When guests arrive, they only need to identify themselves at the front desk, where they receive a key package and hotel information.
“In the near future, guests will also be able to express their personal preferences for additional services such as a newspaper, or request an automatic wakeup call or room service order,” said Bjohn Gullaksen, executive vice president of Carlson Hotels.
