Raileasy and Glastonbury Festival Trains
After a successful collaboration since 2009, Raileasy has again been invited to partner with Glastonbury Festival to assist travellers by rail to the festival.
This year, Raileasy is working with First Travel Solutions to provide dedicated Glastonbury train departing from London and Preston to Cranmore station near to the Festival site.
You don’t have to wait until you are in Somerset to start your festival with Raileasy; the trains will be bringing a little bit of the Glastonbury spirit onto the rails to make your journey one to remember!
In addition, early birds for this service will receive a discount of £5 per person off their fare, subject to availability.
Raileasy will be running two train routes to the festival – one direct from London, and one from Preston, stopping at Bolton, Manchester Piccadilly, Crewe and Stoke-on- Trent before pulling into Cranmore station – so whether you’re north or south you can still get on the Glastonbury trains.
As an extra bonus, all trains will be met at Cranmore station by coaches, which will then transfer festival ticket holders to the festival site for free. Rail ticket prices start from £60 and include free coach transfer.
Glastonbury Festival aims to reduce its carbon footprint each year and the collaboration with Raileasy is one of a number of ways of help to reduce carbon emissions and continue the festival’s tradition of upholding sustainable environmental practice.
Train times and prices can be found at http://glastonbury.raileasy.co.uk where train tickets are now available to buy.
