Ratings v reviews?
A panel of experts will debate the hot topic of rating systems versus user-generated reviews at the Tourism Society’s President’s Debate next week.
The panel will include Jeremy Brinkworth, director of business development for VisitEngland, and
Karen Plumb, commercial director business listings EMEA for TripAdvisor.

Chairing the debate will be Lord Thurso MP, Society President.
The event is being held on Tuesday December 6 at Central Hall Westminster from 6pm.
Refreshments included – with festive mince pies! – and plenty of time for networking.
If you can’t attend in person you can sign up to the webinar and listen live (or later) online, with the opportunity to ask questions as well.
