Regent Seven Seas first to offer free unlimited Internet
Beginning next year, luxury cruise line Regent Seven Seas Cruises will offer free internet access for passengers staying in its largest suites.
The cruise line will give unlimited access to all booked passengers in Master, Grand, Seven Seas, Horizon, Mariner, Navigator and Voyager suites.
In addition, Penthouse and Concierge suite guests will get free limited time Internet depending on the cruise length.
Guests sailing on a seven-night journey will receive 200 minutes free, or up to 500 minutes for cruises lasting over 16 nights.
Regent has recently completed a multimillion-dollar upgrade of Internet systems fleet-wide and claims to be the first ocean cruise line to offer unrestricted free Internet.
Seven Seas Society loyalty members at gold level or above will still receive unlimited free internet access.
The line yesterday announced financial results for the second quarter, posting a record total revenue of $142.9 million and net income of $11.7 million.
