Riviera Travel Christmas and New Year 2022 river cruises on sale
Riviera Travel has unveiled a full programme of festive cruises for December 2022.
It will offer a total of 19 sailings across six Rhine and Danube itineraries.
It includes yuletide market sailings departing in the run-up to Christmas; cruises during Christmas week and New Year celebratory sailings.
The itineraries available to book now include the Danube’s Imperial Cities & Yuletide Markets with eight sailings featuring guided tours of Budapest, Vienna and Bratislava. The six-day sailing is available from £819pp
Christmas on the Rhine sails December 21, with six visits and tours including Koblenz, Rüdesheim, Speyer, Strasbourg, Boppard and Cologne. The eight-day sailing is available from £2,089.
Seven cruises will depart on the Enchanting Rhine & Yuletide Markets itinerary, with guided tours of Bonn, Rüdesheim, Koblenz and Cologne. This five-day sailing is from £689pp.
Katja Hildebrandt from Riviera Travel said: “Our yuletide market sailings will create the perfect festive atmosphere. Then over the Christmas period itself, we’ll sample the very best of what our destinations have to offer, while joining in the celebrations onboard.”
Christmas dinners will be served on December 25 sailings.
New Year’s Eve cruises will feature a special end-of-year dinner, midnight drinks and canapés.
