More than 3,000 hotel rooms in the UK and the rest of Europe for £10 are being offered in a day-long sale by lastminute.com.

The online travel and leisure retailer is making 2,000 rooms in the UK available at the knock-down rate.

Locations include coastal resorts such as Bournemouth, Brighton and Torquay and cities including Manchester, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

More than 1,300 rooms are also available across Europe for £10 including Madrid, Barcelona, Vienna, Rome and Lisbon.

All hotels are either three or four star properties. The offer is available on selected dates up until April, the company said.
