Royal Caribbean promotes Stuart Leven to EMEA role
Stuart Leven has been promoted to vice president EMEA and managing director of RCL Cruises.
Leven, who was previously associate vice president and managing director for UK and Ireland, will now take additional responsibility for Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Club Cruises across the rest of Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
"Royal Caribbean International in the UK and Ireland has seen unprecedented growth under Stuart’s watch and his experience and expertise will be vital as we look to expand our European deployment," said Gavin Smith, senior vice president international, RCL Cruises.
Leven joined the cruise line in 2013 having previously held senior commercial roles with Intercontinental Hotels Group and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines.
Ben Bouldin will be promoted to associate vice president and managing director, Royal Caribbean International UK and Ireland, reporting into Leven.
Bouldin joined RCI as director of sales UK and Ireland in 2014, having previously held a number of senior roles at PepsiCo International.
Meanwhile, Royal Caribbean has appointed George Scott as regional sales manager for Scotland.
Starting on January 3, he joins from from Kuoni Travel, where he was store manager, and Thomson where he was senior retail manager.
He will report into Sarah Weetman, head of retail UK & Ireland.
