Royal Caribbean punts on Rugby World Cup

SYDNEY – Royal Caribbean’s Rhapsody of the Seas has been chartered for the 2011 Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.

Rhapsody of the Seas will offer New Zealand regional cruises along with the opportunity for guests to enjoy the Rugby World Cup quarter finals, semi finals, and the finals held in Wellington and Auckland.

The charterer, Cruiseco Pty Ltd has been appointed an official travel agent for the event.

Royal Caribbean’s Rhapsody of the Seas is being chartered from October 6-27.

The 2011 Rugby World Cup takes place in numerous New Zealand cities from September 9 to October 23, with the finals running from October 8-23.
