RwandAir takes off from Heathrow Terminal 4

African airline RwandAir has officially taken flight from its new home at Heathrow Terminal 4 to enhance the travel experience for customers to and from Rwanda.
The relocation to T4 is part of a series of changes implemented by Heathrow Airport’s operators to streamline operations.
Premium customers travelling through Terminal 4 will have access to the Plaza Premium Lounge with hot and cold food, a bar, and shower facilities.
RwandAir began operating flights from Heathrow Airport in October 2020 and currently offers six direct Rwanda flights per week to Kigali.
Simon Rickman, RwandAir Regional Manager for the UK and EU said: “The relocation to Terminal 4 will improve our Rwanda flight operations and customer service, as we prepare to operate daily flights starting 29 April.”
RwandAir operates Airbus A330s, able to carry up to 274 passengers, with seats for up to 30 in lie-flat Business Class.
RwandAir currently serves 24 destinations across East, Central, West, and Southern Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.
