Ryanair cancels plan to lay off Belgian cabin crew
Low-cost airline Ryanair reversed a decision to cut nearly half of its Belgium based cabin crew workforce. It cancelled plans to lay off 176 of the 360-strong cabin crew members based in Belgium.
It has now reached agreement with staff for a reduction in wages. Salary reductions have also been accepted by workers in Germany and Italy but unions in Spain and Portugal still oppose it.
