Rzymowska to remain in role
Royal Caribbean Cruise Line’s Jo Rzymowska will not be putting herself forward to take over as UK and Ireland managing director.
In a message to trade partners, she said she had removed herself from the list of candidates in the running to succeed Robin Shaw, who left recently.
"It’s a big decision for me and one I have not taken lightly," said Rzymowska, who said she will stay as associate vice president and general manager for the UK and Ireland.
She continues in the role of acting managing director until the position is filled. A decision is expected in the next few weeks.
"The reason for my decision is quite simply to work to my personal strengths for the Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Club Cruises businesses," said Rzymowska.
