Sabre’s Suite deal
SINGAPORE – Sabre Airline Solutions has acquired EB2, a UK-based independent supplier of e-commerce enabling software products, solutions, infrastructure and services to global airlines.
A Sabre spokeswoman said the deal is expected to deliver the industry’s most powerful Internet booking engine capabilities, which will help airlines “optimise revenue-generating opportunities, experience operational efficiencies and realise cost-saving benefitsâ€.
The acquisition is part of Sabre’s long-term growth plans and continual investments in the company’s airline portfolio.
Sabre Airline Solutions will fully integrate all of EB2’s products and services with the rest of the SabreSonic Suite supporting automated refunds and exchanges in addition to other complex shopping and pricing requests.
