SalamAir opens Bagdad office
Oman based low-cost airline SalamAir has officially landed in Iraq.
The airline celebrated the grand opening of its new office in Baghdad.
Hamed Ahmed Eidroos, Ambassador of Oman in Iraq, attended the event along with the Kuwaiti Ambassador and the Yemeni Ambassador to Iraq.
Airport and trade partners were also at the event.
The new office marks the first for an Omani airline in Iraq.
After a gap of 20 years SalamAir started direct Iraq from Oman last summer.
SalamAir operates Iraq flights four time a week from Muscat
The airline’s international network includes Colombo, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Dhaka, Jaipur and Lucknow.
