Sales team shake up at Island Cruises
Island Cruises has appointed a new key account manager for the North and Midlands.
Karen Poulton joins from Harvey World Travel where she has held the position of lifestyle products manager since 2006.
Prior to that, she spent three years with Sandals and Beaches Resorts as sales manager in the North and Midlands.
Leslie Peden, Island Cruises director of sales, said the appointment follows the successful trial of a new key account manager position for the South.
To coincide with the new role, regional sales manager for the North, Sue Cragg, will take on the expanded region of the North and Midlands.
Craig Upshall and Nigel Rankin’s roles and responsibilities have also been re-aligned, to “ensure a clear distinction between Leslie Peden’s direct reportsâ€,
Upshall remains as manager national sales, with all regional sales managers now reporting to him including Ireland and international general sales agents.
Rankin becomes manager, national accounts with both key account managers reporting to him.
