Scandinavian Airlines celebrate the christening of the Danish Prince
Scandinavian Airlines, the national carrier of Denmark (Sweden and Norway) in Australia is launching special airfares to Europe to celebrate the christening of the newborn Danish Prince.
As part of the celebrations, SAS has released a special fare to Copenhagen and onwards to more than 75 cities in Europe of only AU$1500 (nett. excludes taxes). Fly with SAS airline partner Qantas to Tokyo, Shanghai or Beijing and then fly onwards to Europe via Copenhagen with SAS. Passengers can return via one of these cities or for even more flexibility and choice, passengers have the option to return via Bangkok or Singapore. The fare is available for departures until 24 March 2006.
The new lie flat seats are available in business class on all SAS Asian routes from early 2006. A Business Class special in combination with THAI is now available for travel until 31 March 2006 starting from AU$5150 (nett).

The Danish experience begins as soon as your passengers board SAS International flights. Traditional and classic Scandinavian as well as international cuisine is served by the Danish crew. Business class passengers dine with cutlery by Danish designer Georg Jensen and prestige Royal Copenhagen china. Personal in-seat video screens are available in all classes and the international programming, includes Danish-produced music and movies.
Onboard, children are provided special kids’ meals and activity packs, as well as children’s movie and audio channels that feature famous Danish names such as Hans Christian Andersen and Lego. SAS also provides baby bassinets, sleeping bags and baby meals.
