Sea-Tac Airport testing virtual line tech for TSA security screening
Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is working on a new tech innovation which could cut long lines at the airport and better manage physical distancing. Sea-Tac is testing a virtual line system for digital reservations for the TSA screening checkpoints.
Called SEA Spot Saver, the virtual queuing system would avoid people standing in crowded security lines and they will be notified when it is their turn to proceed to a TSA checkpoint.
Both Alaska Airlines and Delta Air Lines’ passengers taking morning flights can use the SEA Spot Saver program during its trial which lasts until 31 August
