Seabourn hot spots

Monday, 01 Jul, 2004 0

The Yachts of Seabourn ships Pride, Spirit and Legend are being upgraded to a wi-fi “hot zone.”

The new service allowing guests to connect to the internet at their wi-fi equipped laptops and PDAs without plugging in will be available this summer, the cruise line said.

Cruising guests will be able to send and receive web-based mail, or surf the net either in their suites or inmost public areas of Seabourn’s three yacht-like ships.

In addition to convenience, Seabourn says it has a new and more economical satellite service that will drastically lower costs for internet connections and telephone calls.

The previous charge of $12.50 per minute has been reduced to $4.95.
