The body of a fourth victim has been recovered in the water off the coast of Thai holiday island Koh Samui after last Thursday’s deadly speedboat sinking.
British tourist Jason Parnell’s body was discovered by rescuers close to where the boat went down as is the second Briton to die in the tragedy.
"Rescue workers found his body near the accident site. His body was trapped among the rocks and we have called off the search operation," Lieut Gen Ukhcarawath Sithanaubol, told AFP.
Parnell was travelling with his wife who survived theaccident.
Another British tourist, Monica Cozma also died and was in Thailand on her honeymoon.
The other victims were named as German Kafo Franeiska and Hong Kong national Trunk Laidka.
The boat was carrying 32 tourists when it hit a wave and capsized.
Police said they have charged the boat captain with negligence resulting in the accident, and if found guilty could be sentenced to 10 years in prison.
