Secret Escapes secures further investment
Secret Escapes has secured a £52m investment from Old Mutual Global Investors.
The new investment partnership will enable the London-based international online marketplace for affordable luxury travel deals to continue to grow its business and move several strategic partnerships forward including in-house hotel and flight packaging.
This announcement comes off the back of 2017’s Series D investment and debt facility round in which Secret Escapes secured $11m (£83m).
Secret Escapes has secured $153m (£104m) in capital since 2011.
Secret Escapes chief executive Alex Saint described the funding as ‘exciting’.
He said: "The support from OMGI will help us to inspire the world to escape with amazing hand-picked, discounted travel deals and innovative product developments."
