SFO mandates vaccinations for all airport workers
Nearly 50,000 San Francisco airport workers must be fully vaccinated under new rules issued by city officials. It will be the first major airport to make it compulsory for all. It is part of the city’s ‘aggressive measures’ to curb Covid infections, said Mayor London Breed.
As well as all direct workers, all employees of concessions and airport contractors must be vaccinated. Exemptions are granted for medical and some religious belief reasons but they must be regularly tested.
