Silversea Cruises appoints Asia Pacific GM

Silversea Cruises has named Amber Wilson as new Sydney based general manager for Asia Pacific.
Wilson has more than 17 years’ experience in the industry, having worked at Star Cruises and Norwegian Cruise Line, and most recently was general manager, sales and marketing at Cruiseco.
"I am thrilled to be joining a company widely acknowledged as being the pioneer of ultra-luxury cruising. It is a privilege to have this opportunity to drive the Silversea brand forward and build upon the reputation of luxury and unrivalled service," Wilson said.
Wilson is responsible for revenue and sales and marketing strategy for the Asia Pacific markets and management of the line’s Sydney and Singapore teams.
Silversea is launching its latest ship, Silver Muse, next April and its first ship, Silver Cloud, will move to its expedition fleet later this year.
