The wingtips of two Singapore Airlines planes hit each other while preparing for take-off at Changi Airport, but nobody was injured, SIA said Sunday.
Company spokesman Stephen Forshaw said: ‘It is reported that the wingtips of two aircraft came into contact while both aircraft were taxiing at low speed.
Both Boeing 777 aircraft suffered minor damage in the incident, which occurred early Saturday morning here, with the passengers transferred to other aircraft for their flights to Rome and Copenhagen.
The airline did not say how many passengers on board each aircraft
Forshaw said an investigation had begun, with the pilots of both aircraft assisting the relevant authorities.
