Singapore Airlines relaunching A380 flights from the UK
Singapore Airlines is bringing back Airbus A380 flights.
Starting from 19 November 2021, SIA will operate one superjumbo flight a day on its non-stop return services between London and Singapore.
This will make it the first Singapore Airlines A380 to return to the skies for long-haul travel.
The A380 will operate as flight SQ317 from London Heathrow and SQ322 from Singapore.

SQ317 is a designated VTL quarantine-free flight from London under Singapore’s Vaccinated Travel Lane arrangements.
Mr Mohamed Rafi Mar, General Manager UK & Ireland, Singapore Airlines, said: "The return of the Singapore Airlines A380 to the skies is a positive step towards international travel recovery. By bringing the aircraft back to the UK, we are delighted to offer our passengers enhanced travel options between London and Singapore."
Suites, First, and Business Class Singapore Airlines passengers can access the SilverKris Lounge in Heathrow’s T2B prior to their flight.
The lounge reopened in September with new features to enhance comfort and safety.
Singapore Airlines was the first airline worldwide to fly the A380 superjumbo 14 years ago and the first to bring it to the UK in 2008.
Singapore Airlines currently flies 18 times weekly from London Heathrow to Singapore, increasing to 21 times weekly from 1 November 2021; plus three times weekly on its recently restarted Manchester to Singapore route.
The Singapore Airlines A380 is configured with 471 seats in four classes, featuring six Singapore Airlines Suites and 78 Business Class seats on the upper deck.
