Theme park operator Six Flags Entertainment Corp is planning to expand again in Asia.
The firm announced a new partnership to construct two Six Flags-branded parks in Vietnam with Ho Chi Minh City based NaVi Entertainment.
The agreement will see a theme park and water park built in the country under the Six Flags and Six Flags Hurricane Harbor brand names, with both expected to open within four years.
"We are excited to announce our third international licensing partnership and are honored to work with the highly-qualified team at NaVi Entertainment as we continue expanding the Six Flags brand globally," said John Odum, president of the Six Flags International Development Co.
The company also has two parks under development in Dubai and China.
Specific details on the location of the two parks and construction costs have not yet been disclosed.
"We are delighted to bring the Six Flags brand to Vietnam through the development of these two parks, and confident we can offer guests unique and thrilling experiences like no other in the country," said Tin Nguyen, chairman of NaVi Entertainment.
Six Flags currently operates 18 parks across the United States, Mexico and Canada.
