Six passengers were injured when a Fly Jamaica plane bound for Canada crash landed shortly after take-off.
The aircraft, with 120 passengers on board, was 20 minutes into its journey from Georgetown, Guyana, to Toronto when the pilot reported a technical problem.
The pilot turned around but, on landing, had difficulty stopping and the plane ground to a halt at the end of the runway.
Fly Jamaica said in a statement: "We can confirm that flight OJ256 bound for Toronto has returned to Georgetown with a technical problem and has suffered an accident on landing."
Guyana’s civil aviation authority is investigating.
