Snacks off the menu on Air NZ domestic flights
Air New Zealand has stopped serving food and drinks on all domestic flights, to ensure all passengers keep masks on throughout the entire flight. Air NZ says the move will help protect staff and customers.
The airline will instead will hand out a snack to customers as they exit the plane. Water will still be served onboard on request.
Air NZ says it is a temporary measure to curb the spread of Omicron and will be reviewed regularly.
