Southwest Airlines plans to start hiring flight attendants again
Southwest Airlines will start hiring new flight attendants in the coming weeks as signs of travel rebound become clearer. Southwest has already sent recall notices to flight attendants who took temporary leave and will return to duty next month.
A staff memo said it plans to make new hires ‘in the near future’ but didn’t say how many it plans to recruit. It already has candidates who were given conditional job offers when it froze hiting last year due to the pandemic.
