Southwest Airlines to start selling booze aboard flights again
Southwest Airlines will start selling alcohol aboard flights again this month. It paused sales on its flights nearly two years ago . It then extended the pause due to the number of disruptive passenger incidents.
However, its flight attendants’ union calls the move ‘unsafe and irresponsible.’ From February 16, Southwest will sell beer, wine, rum, tequila and vodka on all flights at least 176 miles long.
It is also adding a wider range of soft drinks.
