Luxury travel agents are betting on a bright future ahead for the embryonic space tourism market. New agencies like SpaceVIP, launched last year, are emerging. It has already booked three group flights with Space Perspective, which launches in two years.
It says it can arrange tickets for 11 different space tourism providers. Space tourism companies may rely on the client networks of luxury agents due to the small and specialized niche market for the super-rich.
