Spain tightens restrictions on travel from UK
Spain joins Malta and Portugal in tightening protocols for arriving British travellers. They are required to show either proof of vaccination or a negative PCR test. It comes as Spain’s Balearic Islands were designated as ‘green list’ low risk destinations.
Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said that the measures would come into effect within 72 hours which is around the same time the Balearics officially take their place on the UK’s green list. Mainland Spain remains on the amber list.
