A SpiceJet aircraft caught fire shortly after take-off prompting an emergency landing at Patna Airport.
The engine fire was due to a suspected bird hit, officials say. The engine was shut down and the Boeing 737-800 aircraft landed safely back in Patna. It was met by fire crews but all 185 passengers disembarked normally.
The plane had been scheduled to fly to Delhi.
