Staybridge offers big-screen TV amenity

Friday, 24 Oct, 2006 0

After checking into your hotel, how about a big-screen movie or sports event?

That’s what Staybridge Suites is offering in what it calls “the first of its kind in the hotel industry.”

“Home theaters are a popular trend in luxury home design and our goal is to bring that experience to our guests who spend weeks, sometimes months in our hotels,” said Robert Radomski, vice president.

The beta test for the “Just Like Home Theatre Room” is in the Staybridge Suites Atlanta-Perimeter East in Atlanta. After the test ends this year, the offering will be available starting next year.

Components of the system include a 50-inch flat panel plasma screen; five surround-sound speakers; a DVD player; and overstuffed leather chairs with individual cup holders.
