Strip off to take off

Friday, 13 March 20093 min read

Aer Lingus is giving away free flights to 999 people who have volunteered to strip off for a stunt by the airline.

As the airline starts its first international base at Gatwick, 999 naked members of the public will gather in an undisclosed locationin central London on Sunday lunchtime.

They have been recruited to pose naked as the carrier launches £9.99 lead-in fares to five European destinations.

Participants have been advised that they won’t be completely naked – they will be given specially designed “Shamrocks” to cover their modesty.

In return for taking part, the 999 naked people will receive two free return flights from Gatwick.

There is an equal split of men and women, with more than 50 over sixties registered.
