SUNWORLD CHOOSES SELL-IT ONLINE FOR NEW TRANSACTIONAL WEB SITE
Sunworld, a member of the Thomas Cook Group and one of Ireland’s leading tour operators, has selected RWA’s Sell-It Online product to provide powerful online browsing, searching and booking facilities for its customers. RWA has also been asked to redesign and host the entire Sunworld web site. John Kinane, Managing Director of Sunworld stated, “We chose RWA’s Sell-It Online because it provides us with a dynamic booking facility. What we wanted to avoid was a site where customers were directed along a booking journey only to get to the actual point of booking and be told that what they wanted wasn’t available. The beauty of Sell-It Online is that if you can see it, you can book it! Sell-It’s unique holiday browse capability and easy-to-use booking screens will ensure that our customers can browse and book with confidence.” Sell-It Online will receive product inventory and pricing from Sunworld’s TOS reservation system, enrich it with additional product attributes e.g. marketing types, combine it with existing brochure content and provide visitors to the Sunworld web site with a natural and easy way of browsing and booking the extensive range of holidays that Sunworld offers. This “transactional” capability will be incorporated into the new www.sunworld.ie web site which RWA is redesigning, working closely with the Sunworld marketing team. The new site will provide destination guides plus detailed resort and accommodation information, and the ability to ‘deep link’ into Sell-It Online’s browsing and searching facilities to check availability for specific resorts, accommodation and holiday types. Commenting on this announcement, Mark Bradbury, Director of Business Development at RWA stated, “Sunworld is the second Thomas Cook brand to use Sell-It Online. We are working closely with the team in Ireland to provide them with a terrific new web site offering an excellent online sales capability. The new site, which will be live shortly, will also be a further great example of the value that RWA can bring to Tour Operators.” – Ends – Notes to Editors About Sell-It Suite Sell-It Suite is a family of products providing powerful and flexible sales and distribution capabilities that were once only available to the very largest of Tour Operators.
