A surfer has died in an apparent shark attack in Southern California. A man was pulled unresponsive from the water at Morro Bay State Park beach.
He died at the scene, the Harbor Department said. The San Luis Obispo County Coroner’s Office hasn’t publically named the victim yet. Morro Bay is located about 15 miles west of San Luis Obispo.
Reports suggest it was likely a great white shark.
