A flight from Ljubljana to London Stansted on Saturday was diverted to Germany after a ‘suspicious conversation’ on board.
Three British men were arrested when the plane landed at Cologne-Bonn airport and were being questioned by police.
A piece of luggage belonging to the three men was blown up in a controlled explosion.
All 151 passengers were evacuated using emergency slides and flights at the airport were suspended for nearly three hours.
Nine people received medical treatment after using the slides on the Airbus 319.
Around a dozen flights were directed and 20 flights were delayed.
All passengers were put up in hotels overnight and continued their journeys to Stansted on Sunday.
EasyJet thanked passengers for their understanding.
