Sunday, 24 Mar, 2004 0

The Center for Sustainable Tourism and Sustainable Travel International have formed a new partnership aimed at promoting responsible travel, it was announced. The two groups are cooperating to create educational training courses to raise awareness and demand for sustainable tourism. The programs are designed for tourism industry professionals, students and others. A myriad of sustainable tourism educational training courses ranging from executive education, continuing education and distance learning programs, to one-hour lectures, half-day and full day seminars, are all under development or are currently being offered by CST and STI. Another area the two groups are cooperating with is to hold a National Conference on Sustainable Tourism, tentatively set for Mach of next year.
