SYDNEY – A tourism education and research symposium for universities, colleges, and travel managers will be held in Sydney on December 11.

Hawaii-based Mundus Institute, the largest educational institution in the tourism and hospitality fields, will host Travel Symposium 2009.

Amadeus IT Group and Intercontinental Hotel Group, are co-sponsors of the non-profit educational conference.

During the full-day forum, leading industry representatives will discuss economic, technological, and cultural challenges facing the emerging tourism workforce of tomorrow, including specific topics of concern to tourism educators, trainers and travel managers.
