Sydney’s Top of the world New Year’s Eve Fireworks party announced
Operators of the Sydney Tower have opened for bookings for early bird revellers keen to grab Sydney’s top views of the New Year’s Eve fireworks.
Away from the crowds and more than 250m above the city’s streets, Sydney Tower’s Observation Deck and rooftop adrenalin attraction, Sydney Skywalk, will both offer uninterrupted views of the spectacular harbour fireworks.
Space for the special fireworks tours on top of Sydney’s highest building is limited and advance bookings are required.
Two special Skywalk tours will be offered on New Year’s Eve – one for the 9pm fireworks and another for the midnight spectacle. Skywalkers will venture outside on the roof of the golden turret and enjoy the spectacular pyrotechnics from glass-floored viewing platforms suspended over the city.
The Sydney Skywalk fireworks tours are available for $249 for adults and $199 for children aged over 10, including a free photograph, certificate of achievement, glass of sparkling wine or soft drink and entry to Sydney Tower’s virtual reality ride, OzTrek. Skywalkers must have an alcohol level of less than 0.05% before the tour.
Sydney Tower’s popular Observation Deck will also offer two fireworks viewing sessions on December 31. Each is priced at $79 for adults and $49 for children or $199 for a family of two adults and two children, including an OzTrek ride and a glass of sparkling wine or soft drink.
Bookings for both Sydney Skywalk and the Observation Deck are available by phoning 02 9333 9200 or visiting www.sydneytoweroztrek.com.au or www.skywalk.com.au.
