TAG Acquires Nashville TMC
The Appointment Group (TAG) has acquired Nashville based Travel Stars, a travel management company specializing in entertainment and luxury travel.
The move to acquire Travel Stars first began in 2018, between TAG’s Chief Operating Officer, Gabrielle Carr and the founder of Travel Stars, Pam Keller.
Travel Stars has been in business for more than 30 years, handling touring travel for country music artists and travel arrangements for high-net-worth individuals.
The acquisition fits into TAG’s strategy to bolster its presence in the entertainment industry.
“Nashville is home to an incredible number of artists in need of bespoke touring travel management and high-net-worth individuals for VIP treatment,” said Carr.
“Travel Stars is a very well-established and trusted company within the Nashville entertainment industry.”
The acquisition is also beneficial for Travel Stars.
“Together, we form a synergy that elevates our capabilities and expands our reach,” Keller said.
As part of the integration, the Travel Stars team will become part of TAG’s Nashville office, operating under its own division: Travel Stars.
TAG was established in 1988 and has become a leading travel and event management company with 19 global offices across six specialist divisions.
