Teletext shifts focus
Teletext Holidays has appointed Lindsay Brook-Hartop to the newly-created position of partnerships manager.
Reporting to MD Victoria Sanders, she will be responsible for creating new affinity partnerships, as part of a new focus for the group.
Teletext is looking to work with more brands outside of the travel industry, including fashion retailers or publishing brands.
The company also wants to create new campaigns with existing media and television partners including Virgin Media and Samsung.
"We’ve doubled the size of our database since last year and it’s now over one million but we want to drive that forward and are looking to make it two million by the end of 2013," said Sanders.
"Driving more affinity partners and working together with like-minded brands is part of our strategy to build an active database so we are tailoring our marketing to people who want to hear about holiday deals from us."
Brook-Hartop was previously digital account manager at Frommer’s Unlimited, the digital arm of Frommer’s Travel.
