TELME FAREBASE LAUNCH RETURN ON INVESTMENT SEMINAR
Leading airfares distribution specialist, TelMe Farebase, has teamed up with Travel Weekly to hold a Return On Investment Seminar to illustrate how travel technology can deliver considerably more value than cost to travel agents.
The Seminar will take place in the afternoon of 6th September 2005 at the Queen’s Tennis Club, London and will address many of the issues implicit in the selection and buying process.
The excellent line up of speakers includes, Dermot Blastland, Managing Director, First Choice Holidays: Peter Muller, Managing Director, TelMe Farebase: Jason Clarke, Regional Managing Director UK & Ireland Cendant Travel Distribution Services and Kate Bantick, Managing Director of Netizen. The Seminar will be moderated by Paul Richer from Genesys and the panel will include Travel Weekly Editor, Martin Lane, Norman Gage from Advantage and Todd Carpenter of the Travel Trust Association.
Jason Clarke, Regional Managing Director – UK and Ireland, Cendant Travel Distribution Services commented, “Although technology is a vital business tool today it is still viewed as a high cost drain on a company’s finances. Businesses need to consider choices carefully to ensure that they invest in the appropriate technology that will make a positive contribution to their success“.
The seminar is expected to attract a wide audience from all sectors of the travel industry.
Peter Muller, Managing Director of TelMe Farebase, added, “We believe that technology should pay for itself in the short to medium term. Clearly demonstrable ROI will convert a cost to the agent into a business opportunity. In simple terms technology should deliver appropriate value in relation to its cost”.
The seminar will cost £30 for Travel Weekly readers (£60 for others). For details and bookings please contact Lindsay Side at TelMe Farebase: Tel 0870 873 9000 or email [email protected] or Linda Gibson, Tel 01727 825306, or email [email protected].
