Airbnb has poached Tesla Inc.’s senior director of global sales and marketing.
Dan Kim, who only joined Tesla earlier this year, has been appointed as director of Airbnb Plus, the home sharing platform’s curated collection of premium homes.
He quietly left Tesla last month.
Before joining Tesla Kim was an executive at vehicle analytics company Solera and before that founded frozen yoghurt company Red Mango.
Tesla has seen a spate of senior departures this year with director of investor relations, Aaron Chew the latest to quit this week.
The Airbnb Plus service promises ‘only the highest quality homes’ listed by hosts with the highest rating.
