Thai Airways debt restructuring plan seeks USD1.6 billion cash injection
Thai Airways is seeking an extra cash infusion of up to THB50 billion (US$1.65 billion) as part of its debt restructuring plan. The airline is set to submit its plan to the Central Bankruptcy Court.
According to people familiar with the matter, funds may be raised via equity, loans or convertible securities. It would need to be approved by the Bankruptcy Court as well as creditors.
