The first ever Finland Down Under seminars

The Finland Down Under Seminars which took place in Sydney (3 April) and Melbourne (4 April) attracted over 150 agents and key media in both cities, with the lucky winners receiving return flights with Finnair from Asia to Helsinki, three nights accommodation at a first class hotel in Helsinki, return flights to Inari in Lapland, three nights accommodation in Finnish Lapland, a tour to Kirkenes on the Arctic Ocean and a return cruise to Stockholm, Sweden as well as Tallinn Estonia.
Finnish and Australian partners received a special treat at the Finnish Consulate by (photo 3500) Richard Tognietti and his new Violin (valued $10 million), Satu Vanska (Finn), Nicole Divall and Timo- Veikko Valve (Finn)of the Australian Chamber Orchestra when they performed a small Sibelius concerto on Monday night to celebrate the Anniversary of the famous Finnish Composer Jean Sibelius.
Partners included: the Finnish Tourist Board, A La Carte Lapland Oy, Bentours, Finnair, , Inari Event Lapland, Nordic Travel, Russia and Beyond, SAS Scandinavian Airlines, Sokos Hotels/Holiday Club Spa/Radisson SAS.
